A Trewly delicious partnership with Rick Stein

Seafood Restaurant (1)

We’re delighted to announce that we’re now supplying our delicious Cornish dairy products to the world famous, Cornwall-based Rick Stein Restaurant Group.

Rick and Jill Stein bought their first restaurant in Padstow in 1974, and over the last 45 years Rick Stein has become the cornerstone of not just Cornish seafood cookery, but of the culinary and hospitality culture in Cornwall in general.

Rick Stein’s group now comprises an impressive portfolio of restaurants, eateries and accommodation across Cornwall, the South West and beyond, including Padstow’s St. Petroc’s Bistro, Ruby’s Bar and The Seafood Restaurant, with over 40 characterful and luxurious guest rooms across Rick’s premises in the town, as well as other ventures such as the Deli and the Fishmongers.

This is a great time to be teaming up with the Rick Stein team, as they are currently celebrating 20 years of the Cookery School in Padstow, whether you are an aspiring cook or keen amateur, the cookery school offers courses in a wide range of cuisines with their talented chefs.

The provenance and quality of the produce that the Rick Stein Group use, and the care and attention that goes into creating the delicious food prepared by Rick’s chefs, is an approach we fully understand and matches the quality and care that goes into all of our Trewithen Dairy products.

We like to think we’re similar businesses, both starting the best part of half a century ago, both family-run businesses passionate about Cornwall, its heritage, its land and sea, and both making the most of Cornish produce with quality, great taste and simplicity at the forefront.

To celebrate our partnership with Rick Stein we have teamed up with Cornwall Life to offer an incredible prize – the ultimate foodie getaway in Padstow. One lucky winning pair will enjoy a two-night stay at St. Petroc’s Bistro, have pre-dinner cocktails at Ruby’s Bar, dine at the world famous Seafood Restaurant and be able to take a very special one-day course at Rick Stein’s Cookery School.
