About Andrew Carbis, Trelagossick Farm
Andrew is the fourth generation to farm at Trelagossick on the Roseland Peninsula in South Cornwall, working in partnership with his parents, Michael and Rachel. Andrew and his wife have 2 young children. The 400 acre farm, which employs 1 full time and 2 part time staff, produces around 1.4 million litres of milk from its 200 cows. As well as grass and grass silage, the farm grows maize, and barley which is milled on farm. Andrew has introduced herbal leys across most of the farm. The whole herd grazes from spring to late Autumn enjoying the Cornish sunshine and tasty pastures!
