Fresh Cornish Milk
We transform high quality Cornish milk into the most delicious products. The farmers we work with are close to home, where cows eat lush Cornish grass on farms with higher standards as standard. No wonder it tastes so good.
Our Delicious dairy milk
Our Cornish milk comes from our own directly contracted farmers, all based within a 25-mile radius of our dairy. We are caretakers of the land; we and our farmers recognise the need to look after the environment for future generations.
Being stuck out into the Atlantic Ocean has shaped so much of Cornwall’s geography and its history. Storm systems sweep in on the jet stream, sucking up salts and nutrients from the sea and the mild coastal air forces the moisture to fall as rain. Deep river valleys and undulating uplands create a unique grass-growing landscape for dairy faming, which in turn creates the delicious flavour of our milk.

A mix of dairy herds
Our milk comes from a mix of dairy herds; Brown Swiss, Friesian, Holsteins and Jerseys. It is this teamwork between us and our farmers which ensures the cows have the right diet, care and attention to produce perfectly balanced milk every time.
Fun fact: In the early days Bill and Rachel Clarke had their own herd. They would bottle the milk once the children were in bed and deliver it early the next morning.

Trew Cornish Dairy
At Trewithen Dairy, we and our farmers are passionate about the health and welfare of the cows that produce the essential ingredient in all our great tasting dairy products – high quality, Cornish milk. The dairy farms that are contracted to supply Trewithen are all located within 25 miles of the dairy and we take great pride in the fact that we know each one of our farmers personally.
Although no two Trewithen Dairy farms are the same, all our farmers share a common set of values and comply with a comprehensive set of standards that ensure high levels of animal health, welfare and husbandry. We are caretakers of the land; we and our farmers recognise the need to look after the environment for future generations.
Cornish barista milk
Not all milk is created equal. Ours is produced from family farms in the heart of Cornwall and we’ve worked with award winning baristas to craft the perfect milk for coffee. High in protein and extra creamy, it froths like a dream for that smooth, delicious finish. The secret ingredient for the perfect latte at home! It’s also fantastic in cereal, for shakes or straight from the bottle.
FAQs
Learn more about our Trewithen standards and delicious products.
Is Trewithen milk organic?
We don’t produce organic milk. We work to a set of high standards called our Trew Farming commitment, which helps us to look after the pastures, herds and wildlife.
Are Trewithen products pasteurised and suitable for pregnant women?
All our products are made from pasteurised milk, and suitable for pregnant women but always consult with a health professional if you are ever unsure.
What are the Trewithen trew farming standards?
Companies now queue up to tell you what they believe. But let us tell you what we actually do. We look after the land and it’s long-term health, we tread as lightly as we can, we farm for the future; we and all our dairy farmers are signed up to, and happy to be judged by, these more than rigorous benchmarks. Trew farming is better farming, with higher standards. As standard.
What’s the best way to recycle milk bottles?
They crush down perfectly just as they are and can be left with your council recycling collection. The lids can be recycled too.
