Crumpet with clotted cream and jam

Got some leftover clotted cream? Replace the butter on a crumpet with cream. Finish with jam and dig in for a truly delicious breakfast or snack. The clotted cream melts like butter, it’s seriously good.
Now, we know that in Cornwall the jam comes before the cream when it comes to scones, but feel like this is perhaps an exception to the rule, as the cream is essentially replacing butter, but you might disagree with us on that one!
